Timeline

Samuel Hannaford started a practice at age 22 on 3rd Street in 1857.

Hannaford joined Edwin Anderson (and William Tinsley) from 1858- 1871.

He worked alone from 1871 until 1874.

He joined with Edwin Procter from 1874-1876.

He was again solo from 1876 until 1887 when two of his sons joined him in the firm Samuel Hannaford & Sons.

His retirement date is debatable. He was active in the design and building of The Methodist Home for the Aged in the early 1900s.
