If a computer-controlled family wins the game, no Fast Money is played with an excuse given to the form of "Due to (EXCUSE), the (NAMES) will not be playing Fast Money today". Excuses used include "tax considerations" and "a birth in the family". This is a carry-over from the ShareData versions of the game.
In 2010, Ubisoft released Family Feud Decades for the Wii. The game uses sets and survey questions from the past four decades, using the 1976, 1988, 1999, and 2009 sets. Family Feud 2012 was released in 2011. In 2020, Ubisoft published a game simply called Family Feud, made by independent game studio, Snap Finger Click, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia.
In addition to the home games, a DVD set titled All-Star Family Feud was released on January 8, 2008 and featured a total of 15 celebrity episodes from the original ABC/syndicated versions on its four discs. It was re-issued as The Best of All-Star Family Feud on February 2, 2010.
You can play the game alone or with a friend, each controlling your own competing family. In solo mode there are three difficulty variations, though easy feels a bit too easy and hard a bit too hard, opponents of the former rarely guessing correctly and of the latter rarely relinquishing the board once they've gained it. Medium feels about right, however, and it's not a challenging game to pick up and play. Another positive factor is the ever-present announcer, who will explain every step for those unfamiliar with the set-up and allow you to skip his fairly pleasantly voiced instructions if you wish.
In March of 2022, the folks at Imagination Gaming along with the people at Fremantle released a new Family Feud home game this time using the Gamestar+ streaming app on your computer, tablet, Roku or any other streaming device you have (even your television set [if it has the option for streaming services). It allows you and your family and friends to play this popular game show interactively using the studio experience with host Steve Harvey as you attempt to guess the top answers to a survey question and scoring points for each written answer that you have matched. It also comes with a bonus jumbo card game titled Family Feud Survey Says.
A computer version of the game was released by Sharedata in 1987 for the PC (IBM), Commodore 64/128 and Apple II computer systems; however, the picture on the box showed the Dawson set (with the Dagucon and O'Briant family nameplates, in which there was an actual episode between those two families as shown in the picture below). Another computer game was released by Sharedata in 1989 for the PC (IBM), Commodore 64/128 and Apple II computer systems and was based on the 1988 Combs-hosted version with a photo of the Combs set with rehearsal gameplay in progress. The game was also released as a "Triple Pack" along with Card Sharks and Classic Concentration at or around the same time.
